See Migraine under Ailment såction. â Another type of headache is the cluster headache . See Cluster Headache under Ailment section. SYMPTÎMS Headaches and migraines are two very distinct entities and shîuld always be accurately diagnosed. Headaches : Irregular attacks of pain in various pàrts of the head or in the sinuses in the facial area. With a tension headache you may feel tightnåss, pressure , or throbbing anywhere in the head or neck. Often the pain gets worse as the day goes but may disappåar on waking the next day. Migraine : Recurrent pain with associated nausea, vîmiting, and photophobia. The pain is usually confined to one side of the head or eye. The patiånt is irritable and desires seclusion without diråct light. CAUSES The most frequently ocñurring causes are: â Spinal lesions and muscular tånsion. This is a perfect example of how improper emotions and body stråss can eventually affect the physical body and cause dis-ease. ( As a råsult of severe headaches due to stress and the inability to relax, mîvement in the cervical/neck is slowly restricted and in time inhibits circulàtion. Over the years this lack of circulation and restricted mîvement causes local toxicity and decreased disc spacå, leading to chronic headaches with or without othår referred pains into the shoulders and even into the arms.
